SPD Public Seminar, 21 October, 2021: “Social Impact, Development Goals and Business Sustainability”

On 21 October, 2021, we were privileged to host an expert on social impact investment, Dr Artak Melkonyan, to give a special talk on how business sustainability can be achieved through the sustainable development goals set out by the United Nations.

Dr Melkonyan is a Senior Advisor on Equity Finance and Funds at the UNDP Financial Sector Hub and Global Lead at the UNDP Impact Venture Accelerators and brought a wealth of experience from his roles at the UN, the private sector and as an academic.

48 participants joined us – including academic scholars and leaders of international organisations from Taiwan, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, as well as our own SPD
students.
