Dr Carl Middleton – Special Guest Lecture on SPD419 Research Course

On 16 March 2022, the SPD programme welcomed Dr Carl Middleton as a guest lecture on the Research for Social Welfare and Development (SPD419 course for 4th year and exchange students).

Dr Middleton is Professor and Deputy Director on the Graduate Studies in International Development Studies (MAIDS-GRID) Program, and Director of the Center for Social Development Studies (CSDS) in the Faculty of Political Science of Chulalongkorn University.

His insightful and engaging lecture introduced many interesting ideas as to the nature of research supported by his rich body of work with cases studies, including unique research related to the Salween River.
