On Thursday 17 November 2022, students on the ‘Migration and the Changing Society’ course, on the Social Policy and Development (SPD) programme visited the Labour Promotion Network (LPN), Watsamakkeesattharam School, fishing dock, and Myanmar community to explore the livelihoods of migrant workers, their socio-economic issues, and the role of civil society in the protection of their fundamental rights and the improvement of their welfare by the state and employers.

นักศึกษา SPD ศึกษาดูงานในประเด็นแรงงานข้ามชาติ

เมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน 2565 ผู้อำนวยการหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชานโยบายสังคมและการพัฒนา (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ได้นำนักศึกษาวิชาการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมกับการเคลื่อนย้ายถิ่นฐาน รวมทั้งสิ้น 22 คน เข้าศึกษาดูงาน ณ มูลนิธิเครือข่ายส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตแรงงาน (Labour Promotion Network-LPN) สะพานปลาและท่าเทียบเรือประมง โรงเรียนสามัคคีศรัทธาราม และชุมชนแรงงานเมียนมาร์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสมุทรสาคร เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้วิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ ปัญหาแรงงานข้ามชาติ การดำเนินการพิทักษ์สิทธิขั้นพื้นฐาน และการผลักดันโดยภาคประชาสังคมให้เกิดสวัสดิการที่เหมาะสมของรัฐและภาคเอกชนต่อแรงงานข้ามชาติ
