Student Report on the "Forum of Technological Intervention to Create Sustainable Living in the Modern World" at the Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University, Thaprachan campus on 24th November 2022.

Approaching global sustainability with technological intervention in the modern world is not an individual responsibility. Rather, dealing with environmental exploitation in our future world matters for all of us and places a responsibility on us all to lessen, or eliminate, further environmental problems and expand the capacity to manage a sustainable society. In this case, technology and innovation are important elements for sustainable development in our society to achieve this goal.

This forum was organized to create knowledge and awareness of the management of such issues by the private sector, government and the public through the perspectives and insighhts offered by Ajarn Thuttai Keeratipongpaiboon, the Director of International Strategy and Coordination Division, the office of the National Economic and Social Development Council(NESDC) Thailand, Siwat Varnakomola(Jaquar), Head of Environmental Lab at Chula Politics Lab and also our lovely exchange student from the Netherlands, Cerise Coquin (Cherry) from the Business Engineering field.
This forum was hosted by students from the SPD311 course and we would like to sincerely thank these students for their hard work in making this forum a success, from the the initial planning until the last day. This forum could not have happened without all of their efforts in brainstorming about environmental issues, technological intervention and our unstable future.
This forum intended to create awareness among students and the general public and to promote knowledge and understanding of this challenging development problem, which form an important part of the course SPD311 Globalization and International Development Paradigms.

We would lile to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to Ajarn Thuttai, P’Jaquar and Cherry as our guest speakers in this forum, and a big thank you also to our sponsorship from แต้เล่าจิ้นเส็ง for all the snack boxes provided at the event.
