Internship

The SPD programme aims to close the gap between the classroom and the labour market by maintaining a close relationship with professionals engaged in the field of social policy. As a result, the SPD programme has several partnerships with various different organizations in Bangkok who have committed to hosting SPD students both as full-time and part-time interns.

TU 399 - Internship for regular SPD students
TU 399 Professional internship is a mandatory component of the SPD programme for third-year regular students. During TU 399, SPD students will intern full-time at an organization of their choice for the course of eight weeks during the summer semester between the third and fourth academic years. Students will gain three (3) academic credits on the successful completion of TU 399.

SPD 339 - Internship for exchange students
SPD 339 Part-time internship is an elective course offered to all exchange students at Thammasat University. During SPD 339, exchange students will intern part-time between 15-18 weeks (depending on the academic semester in question) at an organization of their choice. Students will gain three (3) academic credits on the successful completion of SPD 339.
